InvestLens AI is an educational investment research tool operated as an independent product. For privacy enquiries contact: privacy@investlens.ai.

We collect:

• Email address (for account creation)
• Stock analyses you generate (ticker, report content, timestamp)
• Investment thesis notes you write
• Portfolio stocks and allocations you add
• Investment profile answers (budget range, risk level, timeline, goals, sectors, market preference)
• Usage data (number of analyses run, features used)
• Analytics data via PostHog (page views, clicks, feature interactions — anonymised where possible)

We do NOT collect:

• Real portfolio holdings or brokerage data
• Actual investment amounts you invest
• Bank account or payment details (handled by Stripe directly)
• Social security or national ID numbers

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve the InvestLens AI service
• Generate AI research reports using your ticker inputs
• Save your analyses and thesis notes to your account
• Send product updates (you can opt out)
• Understand how features are used to improve the product

We do NOT:

• Sell your data to third parties
• Use your data for advertising
• Share your thesis notes with other users unless you explicitly enable public sharing

• Supabase (database and authentication) — EU data residency available
• Anthropic Claude AI (report generation) — your ticker inputs are sent to Anthropic's API to generate research reports
• Financial Modeling Prep (market data) — tickers are sent to retrieve financial data
• Stripe (payments) — handles subscription billing. We do not store card details.
• PostHog (analytics) — anonymised product usage tracking
• Resend (email) — transactional emails only

• Your account data is retained while your account is active
• Analyses and thesis notes are retained until you delete them or close your account
• Usage tracking data is retained for 12 months
• You can request deletion at any time

If you are in the EU/EEA you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data
• Object to processing
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
